Decent Stay with Some Issues

loud music tricky parking
The noise was a real problem. Loud music from the pub downstairs made it difficult to sleep before midnight. Parking also proved tricky. Finding a spot on the road was more luck than anything else.

charmed stay

treat basket friendly staff
The room was super clean, it really surprised me. A basket of treats plus tea and coffee facilities were available in the room (such a lovely touch!). The walk-in shower had lots of fluffy, white towels. Staff were helpful and friendly .
The noise from the busy road was noticeable. Windows not fully double glazed did little to block street noise. Barrels were moved early (from 7 a.m.!) which was annoying.
Location
9/10
The hotel is near a beautiful neighborhood. This feature makes it easy to enjoy leisurely walks and explore local shops. Its location also allows for convenient access to the city center, approximately a 20-minute walk away, facilitating exploration of landmarks.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast portions were very generous. It offered a satisfying start to the day (the eggs were delicious!). The dinner menu also provides comprehensive options. I was very impressed with the pub food choices and reasonable prices.

some concerns

dusty room expensive stay
The room I was in had a distinct musty smell. IT was VERY dusty, that i did not appreciate. The cost for just one night felt rather expensive, especially since breakfast was not until late the following morning. I expect better for that price.
